Adele suffered with “severe bowel motions” before starting her tour.
The British Hello singer but delighted fans when she announced her intention to tour with your ex comeback album 25, colliding with the road initially in 5 years on Monday night (29Feb16).
But the prospect of entertaining 11,000 devotees on the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland, was daunting for Adele.
“This is my new in an arena ever,” she shared. “I have been s**tting myself throughout the day, literally. I’ve had severe bowel motions. When I emerged that f**king stage at midnight, my dear God, I thought I was about to die.
“I aroused from sleep this morning sounding like Arnold Schwarzenegger. My voice was deep because I slept using the air con on. And then I had bowel motions because of tonight. Then Gatwick (airport) closed and I thought my boyfriend wasn’t gonna get here promptly.”
She even needed to turn to medication to make certain she could easily get through the show, adding, “I’ve had an Imodium (diarrhoea remedy) so it’s gonna be alright!”
And alright it definitely was, as Adele started the tour in incredible style.

She will go back to the SSE Arena Belfast for just a second date on Tuesday night (01Mar16), before getting to Dublin, Ireland on Friday (04Mar16). She wraps within the European leg of her tour with gigs in Antwerp, Belgium in June (16), before on the way to Saint Paul, Minnesota to file for her North American dates in July (16).
